Tua’s Documentary- Helping One Family at a Time
If you believe it, the mind can achieve it.
Ronnie Lott (Former American College and Professional Football Player)
With football season quickly approaching this fall, BHW wants to kick off the season with an inspirational documentary based on one of our BHW families. For the Su’e family, football is more than just a sport, it is a family tradition. In fact, every one of the Su’e boys had participated in football. When Tua was diagnosed with autism, the Su’e family was determined to have Tua included in this long-standing family tradition. Behavioral Health Works understood how important the incorporation of football was and still is in Tua’s life was and worked with the family to ensure that our ABA treatment plan included activities similar to it. Behavioral Health Work’s approach to treatment is naturalistic, using everyday family routines to foster generalization of skills and to promote independence right from the start. Our programs focus on increasing each client’s motivation to learn, making each session both fun and functional. A personal connection to each family and a commitment to the advancement of each one of our clients is the BHW advantage.
