Grupo Autismo de Los Angeles partners up with BHW to give autism workshops to the Spanish speaking communities
On Saturday, February 10th, Behavioral Health Works presented at Grupo de Autismo Angeles’ monthly parent workshop meeting and provided them with the tools to navigate insurance. Grupo de Autismo Angeles is a parent-run support group that provides parents/guardians with resources and valuable information on programs that are accessible to the autism community. This organization has been providing support to the Southern California community since 1998 and was established as the first support group for Spanish speaking families in Southern California that focuses on autism. Behavioral Health Works was honored to present to such a distinguished group who has a similar value and mission to our CARES philosophy. We would like to give a big thanks to our Orange County Talent Development Manager, Alejandra Ortiz, who not only presented to the Grupo de Autismo Angeles community but also translated the workshop to Spanish as well.
